With over 30 years of experience in teaching, mentoring and leadership across the UK and Australian independent and public education sectors, as well as serving as the CEO and founder of the Australian charity YOU CAN SIT WITH ME, Sophie Sparks is dedicated to supporting your child’s success. A NESA-accredited teacher and former principal, Sophie leads the team at Sophie Sparks Education, specialising in K-12 education and mentorship for both mainstream students and those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low motivation, ADHD and other mental health concerns.

At Sophie Sparks Education, we recognise that traditional classroom environments may not suit every child. Through alternative pathways and tailored, holistic learning programs, we foster self-esteem and confidence while accelerating academic progress. Bullying is aggressive behavior that is intentional and involves an imbalance of power or strength. It is a repeated behavior and can be physical, verbal or relational. Students who experience bullying may feel overwhelmed, depressed or anxious. At Sophie Sparks Education we work with parents and students who have suffered from bullying by teaching students how to develop resilience and confidence.

University and career counselling

The university pathway program is designed for year 11 and 12 students run by leading education expert Sophie Sparks. Sophie specialises in forming pathways and guidance for students applying for tertiary education, application and personal statement support, interview techniques and C.V writing.
